November Scholarships

Seniors
College Prowler “No Essay” Scholarship (Due the last day of each month)
U.S. Students currently enrolled in high school. Monthly drawing for $2,000! Only one entry per month, but can enter every month! Apply at http://scholarshipexperts.clickmeter.com/181817/

American Fire Sprinkler: (Open September 1st – April 1st)  
Seniors read an essay on “History and Impact of Automatic Fire Sprinklers” and answer questions, each correct answer earns you one entry into the drawing (max of 10 entries). Ten $2,000 scholarships awarded nationally. Applicants are put into a random drawing. Application online https://www.afsascholarship.org/

Alpine Recovery Lodge:  (Due July 1st and November 1st) 
We believe it’s our responsibility to give back to the community and help those looking to better themselves through an education, specifically students who have been directly affected by addiction.
Twice a year, we award $1,000 to students in need to help them receive the education they deserve. High school seniors, undergrads, and graduate students are welcome to apply. Applicant must be a resident of Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, New Mexico, Arizona or Nevada.  To apply, please submit an essay detailing how addiction has directly affected you. A winner will be chosen based on strength of essay and financial need.
Include your full name, physical address, email address, phone number, and proof that you are currently enrolled in high school or college (recent transcript, etc.) along with your essay.

Prudential Spirit of Community Awards: (Due Nov 6, 2018)
U.S. Students grades 9-12. Recognizes students who have demonstrated exemplary community service. One student is chosen per school. State honorees receive $1,000 and an all expense trip to Washington D.C.  http://spirit.prudential.com or www.nassp.org/spirit
 
Elks National Foundation: (Due November 15, 2018)  
Most Valuable Student Scholarship – Seniors Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. All scholarships are in the form of certificates of award conditional upon the full-time enrollment of the winner in an accredited U.S. College or University. 500 four-year scholarships, award amounts vary. ​The Daniels Scholarship Program: (Opens on October 1st and is due November 29th)  
Provides a four-year annually, renewable college scholarship for graduating high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional character, leadership, and a commitment to serving their communities. Applicants must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States, a high school senior graduating from a school in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah or Wyoming, have a composite ACT score of 17 or higher (SAT of 830 or higher), and demonstrate financial need. CaptainU Student-Athlete Scholarship:  (Due November 30, 2018)

Navy-Marine ROTC Scholarships:  (Due December 1, 2018)

Titan Web Agency: (Due Dec. 1, 2018)
Must be attending a two year community college or a four year accredited university. Must be a U.S. resident. Minorities are encouraged to apply.
To apply, please submit an essay (1000 word minimum) detailing why you want to be an entrepreneur, as well as a creative photo that you feel represents you best.  Winners will be notified by Dec. 15th.

The J. Wesley Foundation:  (Due TBA)
The J. Wesley Foundation will be giving away a college scholarship, (of at least $500), to a student who is between the ages of 16-18 and planning on a majoring in any area of the Fine Arts.  You can view the application form here:

National Honor Society Scholarship: (opens October 1, 2018 and is due December 7, 2018)
Seniors The National Honor Society Scholarship program is a nomination process. Students cannot apply but must be nominated through their high school National Honor Society chapter. Nomination forms cannot be sent to students or parents but must be obtained through the high school NHS Chapter Adviser. If you are a high school senior, a member in good standing of your school’s National Honor Society chapter, and wish to be considered for nomination, contact your local high school NHS Chapter Adviser. 250 $1.000 scholarships. ​Footlocker Scholarship:  (Due December 15, 2018,
 5:00 p.m. EST)
The Foot Locker Scholar Athletes program awards $20,000 to 20 high school, college-bound seniors across the nation for being exemplary leaders on their sports teams, in their classrooms, and in their communities. The college scholarship, sponsored by the Foot Locker Foundation, is intended to help phenomenal student-athletes pursue their dreams of attending and excelling at a four-year college/university.  Applications, available at footlockerscholarathletes.com

Burger King Scholarship 2017:  (opens every year in October (October 15, 2018) and runs through December 15, 2018.)Applicants must---Be living in the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico, be graduating high school seniors (U.S. and Puerto Rico), graduating from grade 12 (Canada) or graduating from home school education in the U.S., Puerto Rico or Canada, have a cumulative high school grade point average of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent, plan to enroll full-time, without interruption, for the entire 2017-18 academic year at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the U.S., Canada or Puerto Rico.  Apply @ http://www.burgerkingscholarship.com/financial-aid/burger-king-application

NFIB Young Entrepreneur Award:  (Due December 18, 2018)
The NFIB Young Entrepreneur Awards are non-renewable scholarships created to recognize young people who have demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and initiative. The scholarships are valued between $2,000 and $15,000. The NFIB Young Entrepreneur program was established to raise awareness among the nation’s youth of the critical role that private enterprise and entrepreneurship play in the building of America.  NFIB Young Entrepreneur Awards are open to any graduating high school senior entering their freshman year at an accredited (not for profit) two- or four-year university, college or vocational/technical institute. Applicants MUST be running their own small business in order to be considered for an award.  Students are encouraged to apply online at
