ABODO Scholarship: (Due August 31. 2017)
ABODO is an apartment search service started by a few guys from UW – Madison. ABODO was built by students for students. Why? We loved our school, but hated every time we had to find a new place to live. The listing services didn’t have many listings and the classified ads sucked. We decided to solve the problem by pulling together all the listings around campus, putting them all on a single map with powerful filters and displaying real-time availability. We started in a dorm room and now we’re a real company. It’s time for us to pay it forward. We’re offering a $500 tuition scholarship once a year! How do I win? We love our hometown (fun fact – four of our employees share the same hometown) and want to find out what you’re bringing from home to college with you. It could be a physical object, like your favorite sweatshirt, or a lesson your soccer coach taught you; whatever you’re “carrying” to college, share the significance with us and explain the sentimental value and story behind it. To win, describe this item/experience/lesson in a piece no longer than 1000 words, but please include between 1-5 of your own related pictures.
