Seniors
College Prowler “No Essay” Scholarship (Due the last day of each month)

American Fire Sprinkler: (Open September 1st – April 1st)  
Seniors read an essay on “History and Impact of Automatic Fire Sprinklers” and answer questions, each correct answer earns you one entry into the drawing (max of 10 entries). Navy-Marine ROTC Scholarships:  (Due December 1, 2018)

Titan Web Agency: (Due Dec. 1, 2018)
Must be attending a two year community college or a four year accredited university. Must be a U.S. resident. Minorities are encouraged to apply.

The J. Wesley Foundation:  (Due TBA)
The J. Wesley Foundation will be giving away a college scholarship, (of at least $500), to a student who is between the ages of 16-18 and planning on a majoring in any area of the Fine Arts.  You can view the application form here:

​National Honor Society Scholarship: (opens October 1, 2018 and is due December 10, 2018)
Seniors The National Honor Society Scholarship program is a nomination process. Students cannot apply but must be nominated through their high school National Honor Society chapter. Nomination forms cannot be sent to students or parents but must be obtained through the high school NHS Chapter Adviser. If you are a high school senior, a member in good standing of your school’s National Honor Society chapter, and wish to be considered for nomination, contact your local high school NHS Chapter Adviser. 250 $1.000 scholarships. AXA Achievement Scholarship:  (Due December 14, 2018 or first 10,000 applicants)

​Footlocker Scholarship:  (Due December 15, 2018,
 5:00 p.m. EST)
The Foot Locker Scholar Athletes program awards $20,000 to 20 high school, college-bound seniors across the nation for being exemplary leaders on their sports teams, in their classrooms, and in their communities. The college scholarship, sponsored by the Foot Locker Foundation, is intended to help phenomenal student-athletes pursue their dreams of attending and excelling at a four-year college/university.  Applications, available at footlockerscholarathletes.com

Burger King Scholarship 2017:  (opens every year in October (October 15, 2018) and runs through December 15, 2018.)Applicants must---Be living in the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico, be graduating high school seniors (U.S. and Puerto Rico), graduating from grade 12 (Canada) or graduating from home school education in the U.S., Puerto Rico or Canada, have a cumulative high school grade point average of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent, plan to enroll full-time, without interruption, for the entire 2017-18 academic year at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the U.S., Canada or Puerto Rico.  Apply @ http://www.burgerkingscholarship.com/financial-aid/burger-king-application

NFIB Young Entrepreneur Award:  (Due December 18, 2018)
The NFIB Young Entrepreneur Awards are non-renewable scholarships created to recognize young people who have demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and initiative. The scholarships are valued between $2,000 and $15,000. The NFIB Young Entrepreneur program was established to raise awareness among the nation’s youth of the critical role that private enterprise and entrepreneurship play in the building of America.  NFIB Young Entrepreneur Awards are open to any graduating high school senior entering their freshman year at an accredited (not for profit) two- or four-year university, college or vocational/technical institute. Applicants MUST be running their own small business in order to be considered for an award.  Students are encouraged to apply online at

Top Ten List Scholarship: (Due December 31, 2018)
Must be 13 years of age or older, legal resident of United States. Inspired by David Letterman and his top ten lists, we created the Top Ten List Scholarship. With so many awards based on grades and extracurricular activities, this unique scholarship gives you the chance to show us what’s truly special and different about you. Get creative, be serious, or tug at our heart strings. Whatever you do, you only have ten reasons to convince us, so make each one count. College Discovered Scholarship: (Due December 31, 2018) Seniors
Sign up for e-mails to get helpful college tips and resources, and enter to win a scholarship! Crosslites Scholarship:  (Deadline: December 31, 2018)
There are no minimum GPA or test score requirements in order to qualify for the scholarship contest. Any student that is currently enrolled in a high school, college, or graduate school may apply.
Review your completed essay before submitting, including checking for typos, misspellings, and other grammatical errors. Essays must be between 400 and 600 words in length. The Classroom to Classroom Scholarship: (Due January 1, 2019)
We are on a mission to make an impact in the lives of aspiring teachers in America. Once a year, we award a graduating high school student with a $5,000 scholarship to further their educational goals. To apply, students must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Must be a United States citizen or Permanent Resident.
Open to students from all states.
Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Accepted as a full-time student at a 2-year, 4-year, or technical vocational college or university in the United States for the 2019-2020 academic year. We will require proof of enrollment. 
Intent to pursue an Education or closely related degree

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program: (Due January 4, 2019)
Honoring the legacy and character of our nation’s 40th President, the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program rewards college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education.  Apply @

​​Air Force ROTC Scholarships:  (Due January 31st, 2019)

Seniors-Based on Leadership, scholarship, and extracurricular activities.   The eligibility criteria includes a minimum of 26 ACT or 1240 SAT and 3.0 CGPA, physically fit, and demonstrated leadership.  Award amount includes: Tuition, book allowance, fees, plus monthly stipend.

UIAAA/NIAAA Scholarship: (Due January 31, 2019)
Utah Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association will select 5 students to receive $1,500 scholarships. The top ranked male and female will be forwarded to the NIAAA Scholarship contest (National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association). There are minimum requirements for both UIAAA and NIAAA and they differ slightly. Both require that you have participated in at least 2 sports each year and have earned at least one varsity letter in each of the two sports. ​Provo Elks Lodge: (February 1, 2019)
The Provo Elks Lodge alone with the Utah Elks Association, is participation in our Student Scholarship Program for 2018-2019.  This program is open to all high school seniors planning on a technical or vocational education or students with special medical or financial needs.  Alternative/Vocational applications are due by (pm on February 1, 2019.  Please see Mrs. Kirkby for an application.

Regent Scholarship:  (Opens November 15, 2018.  Priority deadline is DECEMBER 7th...all others Due February 1, 2019)  
The Regents’ Scholarship encourages Utah high school students to prepare for college academically and financially by taking a core course of study and saving for college. The scholarship may be used at any public college or university in the Utah System of Higher Education, as well as at Brigham Young University—Provo, LDS Business College, and Westminster College.
The Regents’ Scholarship may be modified each year as a result of legislation. It is important that you use the information found on this website as your resource for the most up-to-date information. ​Utah State Board of Education CTE Scholarships:  (Due February 1, 2019)

CTE Scholarships and Tuition Awards are for outstanding Career and Technical Education (CTE) students. The awards cover up to one year of tuition. Eligible applicants have a 1:2 odds of receiving an award. Would you spend four to five hours compiling a portfolio to receive well over $1,500? That's the reality of students applying for the over 100 CTE scholarships and tuition awards. I have included the link to the application below.  Keys to Success Scholarships:  (Due March 29, 2019) 
Keys to Success provides a wonderful opportunity for the Seniors at Orem High to compete against each other to receive scholarships every year.  Someone from OHS will receive a scholarship from these institutions:  UVU?MACU ($2000), SUU ($1000), MTECH ($500), U of U ($1000), Utah State ($1000), Paul Mitchell ($1000), Nightingale College for Nursing (25% tuition), and the Bill J pope Scholarship with is good for any school ($1000).  Students will apply on line at: www.ktsutah.com.

UAIIA: (Due April 1, 2019)
The Utah Association of Independent Insurance Agents (UAIIA) is offering a minimum of three scholarships ranging from $500 to $2000 in 2018 to Utah high school seniors who have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA and are active in extra-curricular activities through their school, church, community or work.   The scholarship application is available online at https://www.uaiia.org/Education/Pages/Scholarships/default.aspx.

The first place prize is a $1,000 scholarship to help cover educational expenses. This award can be used at any college or university in the United States.
